Pueblo people have long carved and used stone fetishes in ceremonies. Although the Zuni are best known for these, the carvings of other Pueblo people are equally authentic and collectible. These Cochiti carvings are created of locally found native stones.

Salvador Romero basalt badger fetish, 2-1/4” high by 5-1/4” long by 1-1/8” wide, $165. This is the first badger carving Salvador has brought to us.
Salvador Romero basalt mountain lion fetish with offering bundle, 2-1/2” high by 7” long by 1” wide, $200. Tail up on the back as is traditional.
Salvador Romero basalt bear with tufa fish fetish, 6” high by 3” long by 1-1/2” wide, $200. The fish is not glued in but sits securely in the bear’s paws. It will be wrapped separately for shipping to prevent breakage.
Salvador Romero basalt buffalo fetish, 2” high by 4” long by 1” wide, $100. Though tourists rarely see them, most of the Pueblos keep herds of buffalo.
