Leroy Chavez (d) Salt River serpentine frog fetish, 5/8” high by 2-1/2” long by 2” wide, $300. A real rain bringer.

Jimmie Etsate (d) black marble crow fetish with textured wings,1-1/2” high by 2-1/8” long by 7/8” wide, SOLD. Jimmie perched his crow on a found stone base with a turquoise offering.

Eddington Hannaweeke Picasso marble chubby bear fetish, 1-1/2” high by 2” long by 1-1/4 wide, SOLD. This is one well-fed bear! Offering of turquoise chips.

Gibbs Othole tiny azurite mole fetish, 1/2” hgh by 1-1/4” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Beautifully colored azurite makes a nice change for the mole.

Daniel Aguilar, Jr. Picasso marble badger fetish, 1/2” high by 1-3/4” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Back is textured to mimic badger stripes.

Leroy Chavez (d) zebra stone marble skunk fetish, 1” high by 1” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. This tiny guy has a turquoise chip offering.

Loren Tsalabutie sodalite badger fetish, 1-1/2” high by 2-3/4” long by 1-3/4” wide, SOLD. Offering is an elaborately carved boulder opal arrowhead secured with apatite and tiny coral beads.

Calvert Bowannie ivory stone calcite raven fetish, 1-1/4” high by 2” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. White ravens are sacred in many cultures, as are other albino animals, and are said to be magic. Calvert inlaid coral and turquoise dots signifying the iridescence of the raven’s feathers.

Ricky Laahty chrysocolla politician frog, 7/8” high by 2” long by 5/8” wide, $280. Ricky’s unique invention—a frog with two faces—and his personal comment on politics.

Leroy Chavez (d) chocolate marble bear fetish, 1-1/4” high by 2” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Leroy carved relatively few animals in stones other than his beloved Ojo rock.

Dee Edaakie natural azurite rearing turtle fetish, 1-1/2” high by 1” long by 7/8” wide, SOLD. Very stable in his upright position, but he also can stand on all fours.

Stanton Hannaweeke serpentine bear fetish, 1-1/8” high by 3” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Stanton is known for his pigs; bears are rare.

 Devanna Hannaweeke textured turquoise fox fetish, 3/4” high by 1-3/4” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Devanna’s aunt is Karen Zunie who learned to carve from Fabian Cheama, and you can certainly see the Cheama family influence in this carving.

Ricky Laahty natural quartz crystal turtle fetish, 1-1/2” high by 2-1/2” long by 1-1/2” wide, $290. There is an owl carved underneath.

Daniel Aguilar, Jr. turquoise bear fetish, 1-1/4” high by 1-1/8” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. A very expressive pose.

Calvert Bowannie ivory stone calcite raven fetish, 1-1/8” high by 2-1/8” long by 7/8” wide, SOLD. Calvert detailed the wings and tail with inlaid turquoise lines. Another magical white raven.

Gibbs Othole tijilite marble burrowing owl fetish, 3/4” high by 1-3/4” long by 1-1/2” wide, SOLD. This owl is either landing or soaring (if balanced on the squared-off wing tip), and is perfect either way. 

Loren Tsalabutie dendritic soapstone polar bear fetish, 4” high by 2-3/4” long by 2” wide, SOLD. The dendrites add dimension to the bear’s fur and make him look a bit dirty, as—surprisingly!—polar bears often do.
