Ricky Laahty lapis hugging frog mates fetish, 1-3/4” high by 1” wide by 1” long, SOLD. A tiny owl is carved on the bottom.

Rhoda Quam (d) rose quartz medicine bear fetish with inlaid dragonfly and sun and ink-etched bird, 1” high by 1-1/2” long by 1/4” wide, SOLD. Rare to find rose quartz carved.

Annie Gasper Quam (d) turquoise beaver fetish with inlaid sunface and dragonfly, 1-1/4” high by 1-1/2" long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Annie was Rhoda Quam’s mother; you can see the similarity of their inlay. Annie was known for her jewelry.

Dee Edaakie boulder opal eagle fetish, 2-1/2” high by 2-1/4” long by 1-1/2” wide, $360. Eagle is looking over his left shoulder, surveying his domain.

Burt Awelagte variscite bunny fetish, 1” high by 1-1/2” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Burt is Gibbs Othole’s nephew, and it shows in his aerodynamic shapes and fine finishes.

Rickson Kallestewa alabaster mountain lion fetish, 1-1/8” high by 2-3/4” long by 1-1/8” wide, SOLD. This kitty is hugging his food bowl.

Karl Hughte pipestone mountain lion fetish, 1-3/4” high by 3-1/4” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Karl gave this king of the hunters a mother-of-pearl spear point and etched glyphs of hunting symbols.

Octavius Chuyate lapis horse fetish, 1-1/8” high by 2-1/8” long by 5/8” wide, SOLD. A smaller turquoise horse by Octavius is pictured in Zuni Fetishes & Carvings.

 Neil Natewa Jr. pipestone ram fetish, 1-1/8” high by 1-1/2” long by 5/8” wide, $100. Neil’s carvings are rarely seen.

Fred Bowannie turquoise mountain lion fetish, 1” high by 2-1/4” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. This is an early lion by Fred. His interlocking FZ signature is more vertical than horizontal, as in his later work.

Rodney Laiwakete dolomite bunny fetish, 3/4” high by 1-1/2” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. Rodney’s inlaid right-angle heart line is distinctive.

Rhoda Quam (d) purple fluorite howling coyote fetish, 1-3/4” high by 1-1/4” long by 3/8” wide, SOLD. Rhoda inlaid a multi-stone heart line and raven, and etched an ear of corn on this beauty.

Sebastian Santos conglomerate stone resting bear fetish, 1” high by 3-1/2” long by 2-1/4” wide, SOLD. Some inclusions in this stone look like blue calcite or celestine. Very rarely do we see a piece of Sebastian’s work.

Albenita Yunie (d) Picasso marble wolf fetish, 1” high by 3-1/2” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. Albenita was part of the large and talented Quandelacy family.                       

Stewart Quandelacy onyx medicine bear fetish, 2-1/2” high by 2-1/2” long by1/2” wide,  SOLD. The inlaid coral heart line really shows against the pale yellow onyx.

Dee Edaakie Sonoran Sunrise frog fetish, 2” high by 3” long by 1” wide, SOLD. This frog has a tongue carved of abalone on which he has caught lapis and coral insects. It’s been a while since we had Sonoran of this vibrance.

Bremette Epaloose (d) Picasso marble ducks-in-a-row fetish, 1-1/2” high by 3” long by 3/4” wide, $150. Carved of a single piece of marble. Each of the ducks is intently looking at something.

Gibbs Othole blue angelite bunny fetish, 3/4” high by 1-1/8” long by 7/8” wide, SOLD. What a sweetie for Year of the Rabbit!

Eddington Hannaweeke tenorite standing bear fetish, 1-1/8” high by 5/8” long by 5/8” wide, SOLD. Tenorite is a copper oxide, and this bear shows some great flashes of color from the copper (which is where turquoise gets its color).

Ed Lementino mother-of-pearl wolf mates fetish, 3/4” high by 2-1/4” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Bound by an offering belt of turquoise and pink coral beads—what could be sweeter for Valentine’s Day?

Bobbie Natewa serpentine frog fetish, 1” high by 1-1/4” long by 1” wide, $90. Bobbie rarely carves and is known more for jewelry.

Brion Hattie wonderstone wolf fetish, 1-1/4” high by 2-1/8” long by 5/8” wide, SOLD. Brion’s style is reminiscent of his half brother Jeff Tsalabutie’s.

Gibbs Othole pyrite bear pair, 1-1/8” high by 1-1/2” long by 7/8” wide, SOLD. These could either be mates or mama and cub.

David Chavez yttrium fluorite mountain lion fetish, 3/4” high by 2-1/2” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Yttrium is a rare earth mineral that gives the fluorite a milky appearance.

Ron Laahty (d) Picasso marble bunny fetish with turquoise tail, 1-1/4” high by 1-1/4” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. The oh-so-expressive ears are a Ron trademark.

Dee Edaakie stichtite standing bear fetish, 1-3/4” high by 1-1/4” long by 1-1/4” wide, SOLD. Rare to find stichtite with so much vibrant purple.

Bremette Epaloose (d) textured Picasso marble pronghorn antelope fetish, 1-1/8" high by 1-1/2” long by 5/8” wide, SOLD. Despite being a local game animal, pronghorn antelope are rarely carved.

Sarah Leekya (d) natural turquoise coyote fetish, 1-1/4” high by 2-1/2” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. Such a gorgeous piece of real turquoise!

Donovan Dewa labradorite bear dancer fetish, 3-1/4” high by 1-1/2” long by 1-3/8” wide, $200. A sun face is inlaid on his chest and crossed eagle feathers on his back; and he holds an eagle prayer feather in his paws.

Gibbs Othole pale blue angelite wolf fetish, 1-1/2” high by 3” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Gibbs carved one of his magnificent turquoise arrowheads for the offering.

Bernard Homer Jr. cameo shell wolf fetish pendant, 3/4” high by 1-7/8” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. The pendant is strung on a long adjustable cord.

Veronica Poblano polished labradorite heart necklace, 20” long, SOLD. The heart is mounted by a sterling silver loop and strung on labradorite and lapis beads. The silver clasp is magnetic. A perfect gift for your valentine!

Dylan Poblano sterling silver offering maiden necklace, 2-1/2” high by 1-1/4” wide by 1/4” deep (offering bowl), $900. The maiden has a brushed matte finish and is strung on a fine 36” handmade chain. Finished with Dylan’s tag.

Ricky Laahty variscite carved frogs and leaves pendant, 2” high by 1-1/2” wide by 1/2” deep (bas relief), $375. The frogs are strung on a 24” strand of mother-of-pearl beads.

Sam (d) and Lita (d) Delena multi-stone bird and animal fetish necklace, 30” long, SOLD. This is an early piece with olive shell hishi and Navajo silver beads. All 31 carvings are intact.

Lena Boone protective directional fetish bowl, 4-3/4” high by 6-1/2” diameter, SOLD. The fetishes measure between 2-1/4” and 3-1/4” in length and are carved in stones of their cardinal colors. The mother-of-pearl eagle has an inlaid strip of turquoise, coral and lapis.
