Stewart Quandelacy Lavic jasper medicine bear fetish, 2-1/4” high by 2-1/4” long by 1/4” wide, SOLD. Lavic jasper comes from the Lavic Lake volcanic field in California’s Mojave Desert.
Lynn Quam turquoise buffalo fetish with mother-of-pearl horns, 1-1/4” high by 2” long by 3/4” wide, $110. This is a nice, full-bodied buffalo.
Rhoda Quam (d) malachite buffalo fetish with fossil ivory horns, 3/4” high by 1-1/4” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. Rhoda was Lynn’s sister, and you can see the family resemblance.
Ron Laahty (d) Sonoran cuprite howling coyote fetish, 1-7/8” high by 1-1/8” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Ron seldom carved coyotes, which is a loss for collectors.
Vince Chavez textured serpentine sitting bear fetish, 1-3/4” high by 1-1/4” long by 1-1/4” wide, SOLD. Nicely detailed with textured fur all over, even underneath.
Edna Leki (d) dolomite wolf fetish c. 1970s, 1-1/4” high by 3-1/2” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. A classic Edna wolf fetish.
Marnella Kucate opalized fluorite bear fetish, 1-3/4” high by 2-5/8” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Marnella seldom carves anymore.
Yancy Robert Halusewa (d) Picasso marble seated bear fetish, 1-1/2” high by 2” long by 1-1/2” wide, SOLD. Yancy Robert was the king of animated poses, and this bear is a prime example.
Fabian Cheama textured turquoise gecko fetish, 1” high by 1-1/2” long by 7/8” wide, SOLD. Fabian gave this curly tailed guy coral eyes.
Bremette Epaloose (d) Indian paint stone (jasper) mountain lion fetish, 1-1/4” high by 2-1/2” long by 1/2” wide, SOLD. This lion’s tail is up on his back in the traditional manner, but twitching as well.
Brion Hattie Dalmation jasper bobcat fetish, 1-1/4” high by 1-3/4” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Perfect stone for a bobcat! Brion is half brother of the late Jeff Tsalabutie.
Nelson Yatsattie jet turtle fetish with mosaic boulder opal shell, 3/4” high by 2-1/2” long by 1-1/2” wide, SOLD. Boulder opal with this much flash is likely Koroit opal from Australia.
Emery Eriacho (d) turquoise grizzly bear fetish, 1-1/4” high by 2” long by 5/8” wide, SOLD. Emery’s classic medicine bears were so popular that he seldom ventured to a different silhouette. This is a really nice exception.
Bernard Homer, Jr. (d) rainbow fluorite frog fetish, 3/4” high by 1-3/4” long by 1-1/4” wide, SOLD. Bernard’s frogs always make me think of Homer Simpson!
Hubert Pincion (d) dendritic soapstone duck fetish, 1-1/4” high by 1-3/4” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Hubert used only hand tools for his carving.
Emery Boone jet snake with mother-of-pearl diamond insets and turquoise rain drops, 3/8” high by 4” long by 3/4” wide, $85.
Fred Bowannie Pia Mesa travertine bear fetish, 1-1/4” high by 1-3/4” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. One of Fred’s beautiful carved turquoise arrowheads is the offering.
Albert Eustace large chrysocolla bear fetish, 1-3/4” high by 3” long by 1-3/4” wide, SOLD. The black swirl in the stone is tenorite, a copper ore that makes this bear very heavy.
Brion Hattie Picasso marble standing bear fetish with carved abalone salmon, 2-1/2” high by 1-1/2” long by 1” wide, $150. The fish is separate, not glued or bound. You can display the two pieces however you wish, or secure the salmon with a dab of super glue.
Philbert Beyuka abalone dolphin fetish, 1-1/2” high by 2-1/2” long by 1-1/4” wide (curve), SOLD. We do not see much of Phil's beautiful work.
Bernard Homer, Jr. (d) sugilite frog fetish, 5/8” high by 1-1/2” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Love the jammy purple with those golden eyes!
Ricky Laahty ruby fuchsite frog fetish, 1” high by 1” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. Another stone that is getting harder and harder to find.
Ron Laahty (d) Sonoran cuprite bunny fetish, 1” high by 1-3/8” long by 1-7/8” wide, SOLD. This surely is a jackrabbit bunny—look at those ears!
Leonard “Old Man” Halate (d) serpentine steer fetish, 1-3/4” high by 2-1/4” long by 1” wide, SOLD. Unusual in that the horns are carved from the stone instead of added.
Eddington Hannaweeke natural variscite hippopotamus fetish, 1-3/4” high by 3” long by 1-1/2” wide, SOLD. Isn’t he just great?
