Lena Boone (d) large soapstone mole fetish with carved abalone shell point offering, 3/4” high by 3-5/8” long by 2-3/8” wide, SOLD. Lena carved her moles with slits for eyes indicating their poor eyesight. She also referred to this stone as “talc” which is the proper geological term. Lena was an amazing woman.

Freddie Leekya chrysocolla bear fetish, 1-1/8” high by 2-3/8” long by 3/4” wide, SOLD. This deeply colored chrysocolla is a refreshing change from the Leekyas' oft-used Zuni stone travertine (“Leekya stone”).
Hubert Pincion (d) textured yttrium fluorite wolf fetish, 1-1/4” high by 3” long by 5/8” wide, SOLD. Hubert carved very few wolves much less in an exotic stone like yttrium fluorite. The texturing, emphasized by polishing compound, is rare for him as well.

Dee Edaakie boulder opal turtle fetish, 1-1/8” high by 2-1/8” long by 1-1/2” wide, SOLD. Boulder opal is a hard stone to carve being composed of ironstone with opal veining. Gibbs is master of understatement.
