Native American art

At Grey Dog Trading Company, we feature fine Native American art from throughout the United States and Canada. We specialize in the art of the Native Southwestern peoples, as well as Plains tribal arts and Inuit sculpture from Canada. We offer some of the finest work by today's top artists including Zuni fetishes, pottery, Katsina dolls, jewelry, Inuit art, Plains tribal art, weavings, baskets and sandpaintings.

Kent and Laurie McManis jointly own Grey Dog Trading Company. In our gallery we have over 50 years combined experience in the Native American art business. The business grew from a life-long interest that for Kent began at age three when he got his first Hopi katsina doll (kachina doll). It is very fortunate when an individual passion develops into a profession, and for Kent it has been his sole professional pursuit. Kent is also a frequent judge at juried events for southwestern Native American arts, such as Gallup Ceremonial, Santa Fe Indian Market, and the Heard Museum show.
