Bruce is a new artist for Grey Dog, and we are very excited to have his beautiful jewelry in our gallery. Bruce's mother is Navajo and his father is Anglo, but he spent much of his early life on the Hopi reservation due to the fact that his father was an educator there. That is where he was taught overlay techniques, enabling him to combine both Navajo and Hopi elements in his jewelry. Bruce is one of the few artists who makes his own chains and findings, a tedious task, and he finishes them expertly. He also selects very high quality minerals and stones, which set off his marvelous designs.
